Sun Valley, Idaho – The Italian ski corridor Federica Brignone concluded the title of Slalom Gigante throughout the season on Tuesday at the World Cup finals in a race won by Lara Gut-Berami of Switzerland.

Brignone needed to finish only 13 or better in the final race to ensure the crown of the discipline and finish the second. He finished 0.14 seconds behind the combined winner of Gut-Behrami of 2 minutes, 10.01 seconds on a warm day in Sun Valley. Sara Héctor of Sweden was third.

Brignone, 34, entered 20 points behind Robinson’s day in the last giant race of the World Cup. Robinson fought with a door in his first race, deviated and did not end, racing the way for Brignone.

Brignone won the GS Crystal Globe with 580 points, while Robinson had 520 and Héctor 447. This was only the second time in the nine races of the Robinson World Cup this season that was not on the podium.

It has been a stellar season for Brignone, who has already completed the general title, along with the crown downhill. It is expected to be a strong force that goes to the 2026 winter Olympic Games in their country of origin.

Gut-Beami, the winner of the Super-G Sunday, continued to shine in this course.

In the first race, the American correra Paula Moltzan had a difficult race in the demanding Challenger course. He lost a ski pole at the beginning of his career and then crashed through a door and got into the protective fencing with the finish line in sight.

Mikaela Shiffrin, a 22 -time Slalom Giant World Cup winner, did not describe for the GS finals this season. She has been trying with posttraumatic stress disorder Derived from its November accident at the GS in Killington, Vermont. Shiffrin suffered a deep puncture wound on the right side of his abdomen.

Shiffrin will compete at the Slalom on Thursday.
