Inglewood, California – Eight people were injured on Saturday when a driver hit a vehicle in a carmax location in the Los Angeles area.
Two people were seriously injured in the car dealership in Inglewood, while the other six suffered minor injuries, said the spokesman for the Los Angeles County Department, Jonathan Torres.
The video posted on social networks portrayed the consequences of the accident. It shows a damaged SUV that leads back to the building, followed by an employee who hastened. The vehicle revolved in a lobby area and left the opposite end of the building.
Associated Press left messages for the Inglewood and Carmax Police Department on Saturday night.
The incident was initially reported as an active shooter situation, but Torres said it turned out not to be true.
