New York – A New York Judge has relaxed a prohibition that had put him in Elon Musk Government Efficiency Department avoiding accessing the confidential information of the Department of Treasury related to millions of Americans.
Judge Jeannette A. Vargas said in an opinion written on Friday night that a Dogs worker, Ryan Wunderly, can access the confidential systems of payment and data if he completes the training that treasure employees generally do before receiving such access and sends a financial dissemination report.
The ruling occurred in a lawsuit filed by 19 General Prosecutors of the Democratic State who demanded due to privacy problems amid Doge’s statement that he was working to modernize the treasure payment systems.
The lawsuit argued that Musk’s ‘dux’ team was composed of “people named policies” who should not have access to treasury records managed by “officials” especially trained to protect sensitive information such as social security and bank accounts numbers.
Vargas said Wunderly will be able to access payment records, payment systems and any other data system of the Treasury Department that contains information on personal identification and confidential financial information of the beneficiaries.
Vargas put the prohibition instead two months ago.
