London – London (AP) – John Lennon He is being honored in a collection of specially acted British currencies to mark the year in which the great defender of the Beatles would have turned 85 years, Royal Mint said Friday.

The real mintwho has hit the coins of the Alfred El Grande monarchs in the ninth century until King Carlos IIIIt has a continuous series of “Music Legends” coins, celebrating singers and composers. Lennon follows people like McCartney, David Bowie, Queen, The Reddish stones and Shirley Bassey being honored in a real mint coin.
Lennon’s fans and coins collectors will be able to buy the Royal Mint website coins from Monday. They will be available in a range of precious metals, including gold, as well as the different colors.
Prices will begin in 18.50 pounds ($ 24) for a currency called five pounds up to 6,420 pounds ($ 8,330) for a currency called 200 pounds.
