Orlando, Florida – Detectives have recovered Four diamond earrings of an alleged thief two weeks after mirming the Tiffany AND Co. Jewelry worth almost $ 770,000 during his arrest next to a road at Panhandle in Florida, authorities said on Friday.
The last of the four stolen earrings from the Tiffany store in Orlando was recovered from the suspect last week, the Orlando Police Department said Friday.
Three of the earrings were recovered two days before, along with two other unidentified diamond earrings. The suspect was transferred from a prison to a hospital while the detectives waited to collect the evidence, police officers said in a statement.
The four stolen earrings coincided with the serial numbers of the jewels taken from the Tiffany store last month, the detectives said.
After the jewels recovered, the Texas man was taken to the Orange County prison, where he faces theft charges with a mask and a great first -degree theft.
During the robbery, the man supposedly told Tiffany Sales Associates that he was interested in buying diamond earrings and a diamond ring on behalf of a Orlando Magic basketball player.
