London – Singer Chris Brown was arrested Thursday in England for allegedly hitting someone with a bottle in a London nightclub in 2023.
The Metropolitan Police did not appoint Brown, but said he detected a 36 -year -old at a Manchester hotel on suspicion of causing serious body damage. According to British law, the police cannot appoint the suspects before the charges are presented.
The Sun, who first reported the story, said the producer Abe Diaw told them Sunday that he was hospitalized after Brown hit him in an attack not caused in the film nightclub in the elegant Mayfair neighborhood in London in February 2023.
The tabloid said he realized that Brown was in the United Kingdom on Wednesday and called the police to find out if he was under arrest. The newspaper said that MET officers traveled to Manchester and made the arrest.
Brown’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Associated Press.
Diaw said Brown broke him in the head with a bottle and hit him and kicked him on the floor. The producer has filed a demand for 12 million pounds ($ 16 million) against the singer.
Brown was on a tour of the United Kingdom at the time of the incident. It is scheduled to tour the United Kingdom in June and July.
