Beijing – China will allow the entrance without visa for nationals of five Latin American countries for a year to increase the narrowest connections with the region.
As of June 1, the citizens of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay will be able to enter China for up to 30 days without a visa, announced on Thursday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. The test program will be in force for one year.
“We thank more foreign friends to visit China, to experience the colorful and vibrant China,” said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lin Jian, in a daily informative session.
Beijing was host of China-Celaco Community of Latin American and Caribbean states, forum earlier this week, with the aim of strengthening their alliances in the region as a counterweight for the influence of the United States.
China has been opening dozens of countries, including Most European nationsJapan, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia to boost the economy after strict pandemic travel measures. China and Uzbekistan will also begin mutual entry without visas for up to 30 days from June 1, according to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
